The man, whose name has not been released, was found by a hiker in the park on Saturday, June 8, said Greenwich Police.
"We have not released his name and the Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death," Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz said.
Police are not releasing the name until a cause of death has been released in the event his death is ruled a suicide.
A preliminary investigation determined there was no threat to the public.
